Aloha!
I thought I would post some of my favorite easy recipes I have cooked lately! I like finding new recipes on pinterest mostly, which is where these have come from. The first is this delicious meatball recipe! This is sooo yummy! I posted my pictures below, and the recipe is in the link. The only thing I did different was use ground beef instead of ground turkey. We served ours over pasta too!
I couldn’t do a post without any house updates…so we have been slowly replacing the doorknobs with glass doorknobs, as the brass ones are worn and scuffed, and we’re pretty sure they aren’t original to the house…we pulled a manufacturer protective film off of one the other day…The glass knobs are just so pretty and go with the time period of the home so we thought we would give her some jewelry! We opted to paint them in oil rubbed bronze so they would stand out better against the white doors and trim. We got the majority of the glass knobs from a man who salvaged them from a historic apartment building in Atlanta! We are also repainting the doors as we go too, just so everything is fresh and clean! I also have a couple extra glass knobs that I turned into hooks for my purses to hang on in our closet!
I also spent 4 full days scrubbing every piece of molding, wainscoting, picture molding, and crown molding in the house…that was a lot of work, but feels so much better!

Another favorite recipe is the easiest recipe to make, but so so delicious! It is called Mississippi Pot Roast! It is 5 ingredients, in the crock pot, with no prep, and no clean up if you use crock pot liners! All you need is;
1 Chuck Roast
1 packet of Au Jus gravy mix
1 packet of ranch dressing mix
1 stick of butter (not melted)
5 pepperoncini’s (or I like to use the chopped ones in a jar and use about 2 spoonfulls)
Directions-Place chuck roast in crock pot, sprinkle ranch dressing on top, then the Au jus mix on top, next place the stick of butter on top of the roast and mixes, then put your pepperoncini’s on top of the roast around the butter! DONE! Set on low for 8 hours! Do NOT add any liquid!
The best part about this recipe is the au jus with the butter basically becomes a gravy, so this served over mashed potatoes is “onolicious!” (hawaiian slang for good), which is what I did tonight. We have made this recipe several times, and its so yummy!
Lastly this Chili Pasta Bake is also very good! The recipe is in the link below! Were going to make this again this week after first making about a month ago!
If you would like to follow me on pinterest, this is my link, I am obsessed with pinterest!
